Claims (1)
- 対向基板内面の対向電極間に印加される電圧を
選択的に制御して前記電極の少なくとも一部に光
を透過させ、前記電極が対向していない少なくと
も一方の前記基板内面に光不透過性の遮光層を設
けたネガ表示タイプの液晶セルを複数配設した表
示装置において、前記複数の液晶セルの前面に共
通の偏光板を配設し、各液晶セル間の継ぎ目に対
応する前記偏光板の後面側に、前記遮光層の色に
対応した色のマスク層を設けることを特徴とする
表示装置。
