  1. 原稿を載置する原稿台、該原稿台を固定配置し
    たまま該台上の原稿を走査して結像投影する光学
    系及び前記光学系から投影された像を受ける受像
    部を備えた画像読み取り装置において、前記原稿
    台を常時支持する第１支持部材と、該台が撓むと
    接して該撓みを受け止める第２支持部材を備えた
    ことを特徴とする画像読み取り装置。
