ツド及び信号が入力すると記録動作を開始する始
動端子、信号が入力すると記録動作を停止する停
止端子を有する第１、第２のビデオテープレコー
ダと、 該第１のビデオテープレコーダの停止端子と該
第２のビデオテープレコーダの始動端子とに接続
される第１の状態と、該第１のビデオテープレコ
ーダの始動端子と該第２のビデオテープレコーダ
の停止端子とに接続される第２の状態との間で切
り換えられるスイツチと、 上記第１、第２のビデオテープレコーダのうち
一方のビデオテープレコーダを記録動作待機状態
とし、他方のビデオテープレコーダにより記録動
作を行なつているときに、上記モニタ用ヘツドの
再生出力のエンベロープを検波する回路と、 該検波回路の出力のレベルを基準レベルと比較
して上記出力のレベルが上記基準レベルより低く
なつたときに信号を出力する比較回路とよりなり
、 該比較回路の出力が上記スイツチを通して待機
状態のビデオテープレコーダの上記始動端子、記
録動作中のビデオテープレコーダの上記停止端子
に加えられ、待機状態のビデオテープレコーダが
記録動作を開始し、記録動作中のビデオテープレ
コーダが停止し、且つ該比較回路の出力により上
記スイツチが今までとは異なる第１又は第２の状
態に切り換えられる構成としてなるビデオテープ
