Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a thrombolytic agent, containing a water-soluble composition consisting of a tissual plasminogen activator (t-PA) and a specific basic amino acid as an active ingredient and having enhanced solubility of the t-PA. CONSTITUTION:A thrombolytic agent consisting of a tissual plasminogen activator (t-PA) and two or more selected from (i) histidine or lysine and (ii) histidine, lysine and arginine as an active ingredient. The amount of the amino acids required for enhancing the solubility of the t-PA is >=5mM concentration for the histidine and lysine alone and remarkable synergistic effects are especially exhibited by using 5-20mM histidine hydrochloride together with 10-160mM arginine hydrochloride.
