如き操作者が誤つて反対方向に無理矢理にレバー
を回動させて曲げたり破損させたりする不都合も
確実に回避することができる等種々の優れた効果

【特許請求の範囲】 1 圧力流体を封入したシリンダと、このシリン
ダ内にピストンを介して伸縮自在に嵌挿したピス
トンロツドとにより長さ調整式伸縮装置本体を構
成し、上記ピストンによつて区画された二室を連
通する通路と、この通路を開閉する開閉弁とを設
け、この開閉弁を開閉駆動するプツシユロツドの
頭部を外部から押動する操作レバーを設けた椅子
やテーブル等の支柱の一部を構成する長さ調整式
伸縮装置において、上記プツシユロツドの突出部
外側に位置する座部等の取付部にプツシユロツド
中心を横切る直線上で相対峙する開口部を形成
し、この両開口部にまたがつて挿入される操作レ
バーの一側面には上記両開口部の口縁を受容する
係合凹部を形成すると共に、操作レバーの他側面
は平坦にして上記プツシユロツド頭部に当接せし
め、当該操作レバーを何れか一方の開口部口縁を
支点にして一方向及び他方向に傾動自在に掛止し
たままこれ等何れの傾動操作時にもプツシユロツ
ドを押動操作できるよう構成したことを特徴とす
