CONSTITUTION:In a knitted cotton tubular fabric 1 having piles 2 on the surface thereof, the knitted structure is formed from a pile yarn 3 consisting of a water- absorptive yarn such as a rayon yarn and a ground yarn consiting of a yarn having an extremely low shrinkage percentage in water such as a cotton yarn. In addition, a highly shrinking vinylon filament yarn having an extremely high shrinkage percentage in water is used as an affix yarn 5, which is wound in the longitudinal direction along the circumference of the tubular fabric 1 by firmly inserting it into the knitted structure in forming the tubular fabric 1. Further, a vinylon filament yarn is used as a tying yarn 6, which is wound around both end edges of the tubular fabric 1, then both end parts are fixed to form a loop form member, and both end edges of the tubular fabric 1 is subjected to sewing by an overlock machine to fix the tying yarn 6 to the tubular fabric 1 by a sewing yarn 7.
