Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The leg frames 2 in a longitudinal direction comprising the suction cups 4 on the both ends, and the leg frames 3 in a crosswise direction comprising the suction cups 5 on the both ends are moved in a vertical direction to a machine body by the actuators 20, 30. Further the leg frames 2, 3 are mounted movably in the crosswise direction through the machine body 1 by a double acting cylinder mechanism 16 for the operation in the crosswise direction, and further mounted movably in the longitudinal direction through the machine body 1 by a double acting cylinder mechanism 26 for the operation in the longitudinal direction. To move a wall face walking machine comprising the above-mentioned structure, for cleaning a wall face in the crosswise direction, one cylinder mechanism 16 is used, and to move the same in the longitudinal direction, two cylinder mechanisms 26 mounted fore and aft, are used.
