Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the call loss in a private line network and to prevent the deterioration of S/N by making the line corresponding part of a facsimile mail equipment into a four-wire type and separating the transmission line and the reception line of a signal. CONSTITUTION:When the telephone number of the trunk line of a PBX connected to the private line network is dialed at a transmission facsimile terminal 1, the equipment is connected to the trunk line trunk of a PBX 6 of a two-wire interface place between networks through a telephone public network 4. Thereafter, by executing an additional dialling to the PBX 6, the equipment is connected through MUX, TS, etc., to a facsimile mail equipment 12. In such a case, the equipment is connected by the two-wire type at the connecting point of a telephone public network and the private line network, and except the terminal accommodated directly to the PBX of an interface place, namely, in case of the terminal through the private line network, the equipment is usually made into four-wire by a hybrid circuit 5. Thus, the call loss is minimized and the deterioration of S/N is prevented.
