Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a grounding pole having the excellent grounding resistance reducing effect initially and for a long time by containing graphite fibers and a gel material. CONSTITUTION:Graphite fibers and a gel material are contained. The graphite fibers used are obtained by processing a raw material of pitch or PAN carbon fibers at a high temperature (2000 deg.C or higher). The shape of the fibers is not restricted in particular, but the length of the fibers is preferably about 5-100mm. The gel material mainly made of cement or gypsum, or mainly made of water glass, or mainly made of organic polymer is used. They may be used individually or concurrently. In particular, an amorphous material made of calcium aluminate such as 12CaO.7Al2O3, 11CaO.7Al2O3.CaF2, 3CaO.Al2O3, or CaO.Al2O3 or having their composition and an inorganic sulfate such as anhydrous gypsum are mixed at the weight ratio of about 1:0.3-3, and preferably 1-30wt.% of this mixture is combined with cement.
