Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a fan motor control having no inferior activation to be carried out and at the same time enable a fan motor to be operated at a low speed by a method wherein when the door of a refrigerator is closed from its open state, the motor is operated with the number of rotation set in response to a difference between a refrigerator temperature and a set temperature after it is once energized t the number of high speed rotations. CONSTITUTION: At a refrigerator temperature sensing circuit 5 with a temperature sensing element 3 and a temperature setting device 4 installed inside the refrigerator being applied as inputs, a signal of difference between the set temperature and the refrigerator temperature is outputted to a control means 9. At the control means 9, an operation and a stopping of a compressor 18 as well as the number of rotation of a fan motor 2 are determined and then its corresponding control instruction signal is transmitted to a compressor driving circuit 10 and a fan motor driving circuit 11. In addition, at a door opening or closing sensor circuit 8 with switch signals of door switches 6a, 6b being applied as inputs, information about door opening or closing state is transmitted to the control means 9. At the control means 9, the fan motor 2 is stopped when the door is opened, and when the door is closed, an instruction of high speed rotation is outputted to the driving circuit 11 only when it is energized. After energization, when a time T1 elapses, the control means 9 performs a usual control over the number of rotation. This control pattern for energization becomes similar to that of ON/OFF state in reference to a refrigerator temperature.
