PURPOSE:To improve assembling property by constituting an inclination control mechanism for controlling the drive of a motor for inclining a mirror body from a switch secured fixedly to a base board fixed to the mirror case side and a tubular body formed on the periphery with a cam and pivotably mounted on the base board. CONSTITUTION:A collapsible type door mirror has a base 5a of a bracket 5 in a mirror body 8 rotatably fitted on a cylindrical fixed shaft 3 integral with a base member 1 fixed to the vehicle body side and a gear case 14 connected to the upper surface of the base 5a of bracket 5. A motor 18 for swinging the mirror body 8 is provided on a base plate 16 sticked to the upper end of gear case 14 and controllably operated or stopped in the use position or inclined position by an inclination controlling mechanism 70. Then, the mechanism 70 is constituted from a base board 71 fixed to the gear case 14, switches 75, 76 secured fixedly to the base board 71 and a tubular body 72 formed on the outer peripheral surface with a cam 73 and rotatably mounted on the base board 71.
