Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a low temp. burn in spite of long-term continuous use, by forming the title sheet from a far infrared ray emitting material based on at least one kind of a component selected from a groups consisting of alkaline earth metal oxide, composite oxide and salts, a carrier and a reflecting layer. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray emitting sheet consists of a far infrared ray emitting material 2 based on at least one kind of a component selected from a group consisting of alkaline earth metal oxide, composite oxide and salts, a carrier 1 supporting the far infrared ray emitting material 2 and the reflecting layer 3 laminated to the single side of the carrier. As alkaline earth metal oxide, composite oxide and salts, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate and calcium sulfate are designated. As the far infrared ray emitting material, magnesium oxide having a plate crystal structure, a particle size of 1-10mum and a specific area of 10m<2>/g is pref. As the carrier, papers, nonwoven fabrics, natural fiber cloths, synthetic fiber cloths, a plastic film and a plastic sheet can be used.
