Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、現像剤を用いた現像装置に関するも
のである。近来一成分現像剤を用いた現像方法
は、その簡便さ、耐久性、画質等の観点から、従
来の二成分現像方式に比べ優位性を持つとして、
鋭意開発、研究が進められている。

とくに絶縁性トナーを用いた現像方式は、コロ

電してトナー担持体上に薄く、且つ均一に塗布
し、該トナー担持体を潜像形成体に近接もしくは
当接することにより顕像化を行うというものであ
るが、従来、次に述べる欠点を有していた。

るが、微粉等による現像能力の低下は救うこと
が出来ない。又、第2図aに示した例は、一担
掻きとつたトナーを弾性板Cに設けられた窓d
(第2図b参照)をすぐに通過させるものであ
るが、トナーを掻きとる際Xは窓dを通過する
際の不均一な摩擦帯電によるためか、トナーの
塗布状態に不均一なムラを生じ易い。これは画
像には濃淡ムラとなつて現れる欠点となる。

ブの長手の中央方向に寄せ集めるスクリユー5

の上部に搬送するスクリユーである。スクリユー
