Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive device with high reliability and operability by molding a rotary shutter plate plastically in one body, forming a groove part for holding an elastic body, and eliminating the need to press in a thin shutter plate. CONSTITUTION:Rotation information is obtained by the rotary shutter plate 6a mounted on a steering shaft 2. This shutter plate 6a is inserted into the groove part 6b formed in a ring through an O ring 21 and rotates interlockingly to generate light-shade variation of light. Further, this shutter plate 6a is molded integrally by plastic working, the need for the press-in fixation of the rig member is eliminated, and the groove part 6b for holding the elastic body is formed. Further, the shutter plate 6a has neither a center position shift nor deformation when pressed in, the opposition gap of a photointerrupter can be narrowed down, and a high input voltage is obtained, so that the device is advantageous in signal processing and has high reliability.
