Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform control over a spray angle of fuel injection so easily as well as to prevent an injection quantity from lowering by installing a hollow part, corresponding to an expansion part, and a straightening port to be continuously formed at the downstream side of this hollow part both in a sleeve at a position being opposed to a fuel injection nozzle hole. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is sprayed at a spray angle theta to the downstream side by an expansion part 77 formed so as to be situated at the outside of a nozzle body 6. A sleeve is installed in a position to be opposed to a fuel injection nozzle hole. This sleeve 8 has a hollow part 81 corresponding to the expansion part 77 and a straightening port 82 continuously formed at the downstream side of this hollow part 81. A tilt angle theta1 to an opening 83 of the straightening port 82 from a tip of the expansion part 77 is set to be less than the spray angle theta of fuel. Thus, control over the spray angle of fuel injection can be done so easily, so that any drop in an injection quantity is preventable.
