Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the objective molded article having excellent strength and rigidity and extremely excellent shock-absorbing property, by using an organic fiber and an inorganic fiber having specific tensile modulus for reinforcing the outer layer and the inner layer of a polymer molded article. CONSTITUTION:The objective molded article can be produced by reinforcing (A) a polymer molded article with (B) an organic fiber having a tensile modulus of >=4t/mm<2> for reinforcing the outer layer of the article and (C) an inorganic fiber having a tensile modulus of >=6t/mm<2> for reinforcing the inner layer of the article. Preferably, the component B is wholly aromatic polyester fiber, especially a fiber exhibiting liquid crystal nature in molten state, the component C is glass fiber and the component A is a thermosetting polymer.
