Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a printing paper from entering a device with a skew, by inclinking rotary shafts for a driving roller and a driven roller, which are rotated while clamping the printing paper therebetween from the upper and lower sides through a slot, relative to a paper feeding direction, and setting the feeding direction toward a stepped part. CONSTITUTION:A driving roller 6 and a driven roller 7 in a roller part 3 feeds out a printing paper on a paper guide 2 by being rotated while clamping the paper therebetween from the upper and lower sides through a slot 10. Rotary shafts for the rollers 6, 7 are inclined at a predetermined angle to a feeding direction A for the paper, and rotating surfaces of the rollers are directed toward a stepped part 4 of the paper guide 2. When the paper is fed in the feeding direction A, a sensor provided on the upstream side of the roller part detects the paper, and the roller part 3 is started rotating. Since the roller part 3 is fitted in the state of being inclined to the left, even when the paper is inserted with a skew to the left or right, the paper is fed forward while being turned leftward (counterclockwise) by the roller part 3. The printing paper has the left head edge and the right head edge thereof brought into contact with the stepped part 4 of the paper guide 2 in that order, whereby the paper is directed in the paper feeding direction A. As a result, the paper is led into a device with the feeding direction corrected.
