Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a cheap melting plug prevented from easily generating a creep by inserting a core into a communication hole, through which the inside of a high pressure equipment communicates with its outside, while providing low melting point alloy parts in both end faces of the core and forming a connection area of the low melting point alloy part in the outer part side larger than that in the high pressure equipment side. CONSTITUTION:A communication hole 1a is provided in a pipe joint 1, and a hole area of an outer air side hole part 1b in the communication hole 1a is formed larger than the hole area of a high pressure equipment side hole part 1c. The communication hole 1a inserts to its intermediate part a core 5, filling the core in its high pressure equipment side with the first low melting point alloy part 6 and the core in its outside air side with the second low melting point alloy part 7. When a pressure in the high pressure equipment acts on the first low melting point alloy part 6, the pressure is transmitted to the second low melting point alloy part 7 through the core 5. Here the pressure receiving area of the second low melting point alloy part 7 is formed larger than the pressure receiving area of the first low melting point alloy part 6, a creep is prevented from being easily generated with a less pressure in the second low melting point alloy part 7.
