報を磁気デイスク装置に一旦蓄積し、その蓄積し
た情報を当該端末装置からの指令に対応した態様
で他の端末装置に伝送するフアクシミリ蓄積交換
装置において、上記磁気デイスク装置と同一の情
報を蓄積するバツクアツプ用磁気デイスク装置を
設けるとともに、不良トラツクに代替する代替ト
ラツク領域を上記磁気デイスク装置とバツクアツ
プ用磁気デイスク装置に設け、指定トラツクにデ
ータ書き込み時エラーを生じたときにはそのトラ
ツクを不良トラツクと判定し、その不良トラツク
に対応して上記代替トラツク領域に設定した代替
トラツクにその記録データを書き込み、データ読
み出し時に不良トラツクが指定されたときにはそ
の不良トラツクに対応して設定されている代替ト
ラツクよりデータを読み出す一方、伝送情報の読
み出しは上記磁気デイスク装置より行ない、その
読み出し時にエラーを生じたときには、同一の情
報を上記バツクアツプ用磁気デイスク装置より読
み出すことを特徴とするフアクシミリ蓄積交換装
