Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device, having bottomless guide frames, elevating device and lateral turning plates for bean curd and capable of efficiently and laterally turning the bean curd for packing. CONSTITUTION:Pieces of bean curd 16 introduced into bean curd channels 20 are pushed from the ends of the bean curd channels 20, pushed by a mobile plate and inserted into spaces formed from bottomless guide frames 14 and a partition plate (12a). The bottoms of the pieces of the bean curd 16 are supported by lateral turning plates 26 to provide the sides in state of leaning against the bottomless guide frames 14, which are then lifted by operation of an elevating cylinder to lose the support of the pieces of the bean curd 16 by the sides. Thereby the bean curd is laterally turned with the lateral turning plates 26 as the center and dropped onto a channel 30 thereunder.
