(Prior Art and Its Disadvantages) The above-mentioned composite pipe has excellent chemical resistance and impact resistance, and is used for piping for transporting chemical liquids. Conventionally, this type of composite pipe has been joined by a joining method in which the pipe is inserted into a socket of a pipe joint used for general piping through an adhesive.

However, at this joint, the chemical solution permeates through the fiber-reinforced resin layer exposed at the end of the pipe or the interface between the fiber-reinforced resin layer and the synthetic resin pipe, corrodes the fiber-reinforced resin layer, and reduces the strength of the fiber-reinforced resin layer. At the same time, there was a drawback that the chemical solution leaked.

As a tube joint to improve these drawbacks, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-39224 proposes a tube joint in which packing is sandwiched between the tube ends.
However, in this case, a complete sealing effect cannot be obtained unless the cut surface of the pipe is finished smooth, making it unsuitable for on-site construction.Also, it takes a lot of man-hours to finish the surface, and it takes a long time until the tape-wrapped reinforcing part hardens. The tubes had to be held together.

(Purpose) In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention provides a tube joint with excellent sealing performance by a conventional joining method by simply performing simple processing.

(Structure) The gist of the present invention is that, at the pipe joint where composite pipes each having a fiber-reinforced resin layer provided on the outer periphery of the synthetic resin pipe are joined to the socket of a pipe joint via an adhesive, the pipe is inserted into the socket. The pipe joint part is characterized in that at least the fiber-reinforced resin layer of the composite pipe is divided into an annular notch in the circumferential direction, and the notch is filled with a water-stopping material. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained based on the drawings.

Near the end of the composite pipe 1 in the pipe joint 4 is cut out in an annular shape in the circumferential direction, and a cutout part 6 having a substantially semicircular cross section is provided. In FIG. 1, the notch 6 reaches as far as the synthetic resin pipe 2, but it suffices if it is cut out in the circumferential direction so that at least the fiber-reinforced resin layer 3 is divided.

The shape of the notch 6 may be semicircular, letter-shaped, or V-shaped. The position where the notch 6 is provided is not particularly limited as long as it is within the pipe joint 4,
It may also be the end of the composite pipe 1, 1 as shown in FIG. Also, the number of notches 6 is 2 for each composite pipe.
There may be more than one.

The notch 6 is filled with a water-stopping material 7. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the waterproof material 7 is the same adhesive as the adhesive 5, but it may be a different type of adhesive or a sealant.

(Effects) The pipe joint of the present invention is constructed as described above.
an annular notch in the circumferential direction so that at least the fiber-reinforced resin layer of the composite pipe in the pipe joint is divided;
Since the notch is filled with a water-stopping material, penetration of a transport medium such as a chemical solution is blocked in the notch filled with the water-stopping material.
