Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain uniform photoconductive characteristics by specifying the proof stress and material quality of a core member and the proof stress, material quality and thickness of a surface body, respectively, and further, forming plural pieces of ruggedness by spherical trace dents on the outside surface of the surface body. CONSTITUTION:This support is constituted of the cylindrical core member 2 having >=5kg proof stress and the surface body 1 which is provided to cover the outside peripheral face of the core member 2 and has <=5kg proof stress. The surface body 1 is made basically of a high-purity aluminum alloy which contains <=2,000ppm iron and has 0.5-2.0mm thickness. Plural pieces of the ruggedness by the dents of the spherical traces 204' are further formed on the outside surface of the surface body 1. The uniformity of film formation and the uniformity of the electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics are thereby obtd. with an electrophotographic sensitive body.
