Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily realize the double-speed conversion of the wide band signal such as a character of a personal computer without deteriorating the quality of the character by using double-speed conversion circuits which are drived with two-phase and current adding type D/A converters. CONSTITUTION:The double-speed signal of the wide band signal is reproduced by compounding it with the aid of the D/A converters 7 and 8 after diving it into a two-phase signal and double-speed-converting it. That means, by providing a data conversion circuit 3 which separates the digitized wide band signal to the two-phase signal and the two double-speed conversion circuits 5 and 6 which respectively double-speed-convert the two-phase signal, the double-speed conversion can be easily executed. Besides, when the output signals of them are converted to analogue signals, the wide band signal can be stably obtained by using the two D/A converters 7 and 8.
