Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a variable resistor which is extremely thin in its thickness direction by a method wherein a bag of an elastic film is formed, a conductor film is formed on an inner face on one side of a pair of bag-forming pieces facing each other keeping an appropriate gap and a resistor film is formed on an inner face of the other side. CONSTITUTION:Bag-forming pieces 2, 4, 6 are faced by keeping an appropriate gap excluding their peripheral edge parts; a gas is filled in a space formed by the faced pieces. Conductor films 8, 10 are formed on inner faces of the bag-forming pieces 2, 6; a resistor film 12 is formed on the face on one side of the bag-forming piece 4. A conductor film 14 is formed on the face on the other side. This bag-forming piece 6 is glued and set to a required part; an appropriate part of the bag-forming piece 2 is pressed; an appropriate part of the conductor film 8 is brought into contact with an appropriate part of the resistor film 12. By this setup, a voltage divided by the resistor film 12 can be supplied.
