Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to bend simply a coolant pipe which is led into a room from its outside through the wall by providing a piping bending member which is formed in the shape of a curved face at a position which is near the upper end of a through-hole for piping formed in the backface of an indoor unit. CONSTITUTION:Piping bending members 25 and 26 with curved face are fixed at a position near the upper end of a piping hole 30 which is opened at the right, lower corner of the backface frame 29 of an indoor machine, and to the backface frame 29 a piping fixing plate 27 is fixed with screws 28, A coolant piping 18 on the liquid side and coolant piping 17 on the gas side, when they are bent in the direction of the arrow mark A, are bent along piping bending members 26 and 25 which are formed as one body with the backface frame 29. The pipings 17 and 18 are positioned beforehand to project so much that when they are finished with bending the positions of flare nuts 19 and 20 are the same as the positions of unions 23 and 24, and after bending those coolant pipings they are connected at the location of the fixing plate 27 to constitute a coolant circuit.
