Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the chemical treatability of a steel sheet without deteriorating the corrosion resistance in the naked state and to improve the corrosion resistance after coating, by forming a composite plating film consisting of a plating layer of Zn or a Zn alloy mixed with chromate, Ni and alumina and a Zn or Zn alloy plating layer on the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A plating layer of Zn or a Zn alloy mixed with chromate and Ni and/or alumina or further mixed with one or more among SiO2, ZnO2, Cr2O3 and TiO2 is formed on at least one side of a steel sheet. A plating layer of Zn or a Zn alloy consisting of Zn and one or more among Ni, Mn and Co is further formed. Since the different plating layers are laminated, the adhesion of the plated steel sheet to a plant film and the corrosion resistance after coating are improved.
