Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the water level of an atomizer tub constant even if a humidifier tilts and prevent the water from leaking or emptying by attaching a water passage cover in a connection passage between a water supply tub and the atomizer tube and by making the top surface of the water passage cover slope to rise from the atomizer tub toward the water supply tub. CONSTITUTION:When a water supply tank 9 is placed in a water supply port 6a of a water supply tub 6 provided at an upper humidifier case 1, a water stop port 9a of the water supply tank 9 is opened as a push rod 12, resisting a spring 10, pushes up a valve 11. As a result, the water in the water supply tank 9 is introduced through a connection passage 8 into an atomizer tub 7 and atomized with an ultrasonic vibration element 14. Air blown in with a blower 4 on the other hand is introduced through a duct 15 into the upper part of the atomizer tub 7 and blows the mist produced in the atomizer tub 7 through a duct 17 and out of an outlet 16. A water passage cover 18 is attached to the connection passage 8. The top surface of the water passage cover 18 is sloped to rise, relative to the horizontal line, by a specified angle thetatoward the water supply tub 6.
