Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a pigmented film having a pearl-like appearance, which is capable of being bonded by heat to various materials and improving the decorative property of materials, by a method wherein a specified resin compound, containing mica flake processed by titanium oxide, is laminated on one surface of a heat-resistant film and, further, another specified resin compound, containing the constituent of pigment, is laminated thereon. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant film 1 is preferably made of polyvinyl fluoride, acrylic resin or polyester and the thickness thereof is preferably 10-150mum. The resin of a resin compound layer 2 is preferably polyurethane, acrylic resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or the like, and 1-20pts.wt. of mica, processed by titanium oxide, is added per 100pts.wt. of resin. The thickness of the compound layer 2 is preferably 5-50mum. The resin of another compound layer 3 is preferably polyurethane, acrylic resin, ethylene-methacrylic metallic salt copolymer or the like and these are provided with the function of hot-melt type adhesive agent. The resin is required to have the heat softening point of 50 deg.C or higher and 1-150pts.wt. of pigment and/or metallic powder is added per 100pts.wt. of the resin.
