Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A controller is provided with a computer and order data of the width, the length, and the number of cut pieces are inputted therein so that it can decide the position of slitters, the operation speed of a shearing means 13, etc., and automatically arrange to change them optimally. A set 12A constituted of three slitters and a set 12B constituted of five slitters are replaced or the speed of the shearing means is controlled by the control signals based on this arrangement. The operation of a binding device 2 is controlled by the controller according to the dimension of the cut pieces provided by the order data and the number of cut piece blocks 6 piled on a carrier conveyer 21.
