Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of glycoprotein on the surface of a cell using a secondary antibody labeled with fluorescent material or enzyme, by synthesizing a monoclonal antibody specifically reactive with a cell strain admixed with HeLa cell. CONSTITUTION:The objective synthesized monoclonal antibody is specifically reactive with a glycoprotein on a cell membrane and specific to a cell strain admixed with HeLa cell. The molecular weight of the glycoprotein on the cell membrane specific to the cell strain admixed with HeLa cell is preferably 75,000 Dalton or 70,000 Dalton. Since the monoclonal antibody can selectively recognize a glycoprotein on a cell surface specific to a cell strain admixed with HeLa cell, the glycoprotein on the cell surface can be easily detected by using a secondary antibody labeled with an enzyme or a fluorescent material.
