Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain adjacent recording beams to be overlapped partly mutually by radiating overlapped laser recording beams from separate laser light sources so as to avoid interference. CONSTITUTION:The recording beams B7, B8 modulated by modulators 7, 8 are made incident on a beam synthesized 10 from two orthogonal directions respectively and a recorded beam B10 is radiated while the direction is arranged. In this case, the beams are synthesized so that the beams belonging to the beams B7, B8 are arranged alternately. A beam spot B12 deviates adjacent beam spots a, b by a half the spot diameter D by adjusting the optical axis of the optical system comprising a laser light source 2, plural beam spliter 5 and a multi-channel optical modulator 7. Moreover, the resulting beam is formed by using the beam synthesizer 10 so as to arrange the adjacent beam spots a, b in the subscanning direction orthogonal to the main scanning direction.
