However, on the other hand, when a patient undergoes open surgery, especially when undergoing commonly used dental treatment, the metallic sound emitted when a doctor picks out an instrument from a medical tray or puts down a used instrument. The drawback was that it caused unnecessary mental pain and anxiety to patients.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned anxiety and was arrived at as a result of various studies on improved medical plates. The present invention relates to a metal medical dish characterized by being made of a plate material having a structure in which a viscoelastic material having a vibration damping performance of ~180 μm is interposed as a core and bonded by thermocompression.

The two metal plates used in the present invention that have been subjected to rust prevention treatment, for example, by chromate treatment, have a total thickness of 0.5 to 1.6 mm. If this thickness is less than 0.5 mm, use the aforementioned forceps, tweezers,
In addition to the syringe, mirrors, probes, etc., may easily be deformed when placed and carried, and when placed on a stand, it may not sit well, which is undesirable. on the other hand,
If the thickness exceeds 1.6 mm, the weight of the plate itself will increase, making it impractical.

As the material of the core material, a viscoelastic material having vibration damping properties made of polypropylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylic acid polymer, or a modified product thereof is used. The thickness of the core in this case is approximately 80 to 180 μm, and if it is thinner than 80 μm, sufficient damping performance to prevent metallic sounds cannot be expected, while if it is thicker than 180 μm, the damping performance gradually decreases. This is not desirable because a tendency will appear.

This tendency is specifically shown in Figure 7. In this case, a material consisting of two 0.8 mm thick metal plates with a core of varying thickness between them was used, and the results of measuring the sound attenuation were shown as loss coefficients.

Two metal plates with a thickness of 0.5 mm as shown in Figures 1 to 4 with a size of approximately 200 x 100 x 5 mm,
In addition to molding the plate from vibration-damping plywood with a core of 120 μm, a similar plate was also made from a metal veneer with a thickness of 1 mm for comparison.

For each dish made in this way,
As shown in the figure, we measured the sound emitted when metal scissors were dropped from a height of 3 cm using a measuring device with a sound-collecting microphone placed 50 cm away on a desk. I got good results.

In the figure, S indicates the case of a metal veneer, and M indicates the case of a damping composite plate. Compared to the sound level emitted by a plate made of a metal veneer (average 85 dB), the sound level produced by the present invention is The average level of the dish obtained was 75dB, clearly indicating that the sound was reduced by about 12%.
