Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a three-dimensional woven fabric suitable for a high strength structural material by arranging a pair of divided strings with vertically forming a row and a column, inserting each one of the divided strings of an oblique connected column into the first harness and inserting the other into the second harness, then forming an opening port by relatively driving the strings in the connected column direction. CONSTITUTION: This three-dimensional woven fabric is obtained by arranging a vertical string Z obtained by pulling out a pair of divided strings Z1 and Z2 in a row and a column, inserting each one of the divided strings Z1 and Z2 into a connected column in an inserting hole pierced to the first harness and inserting the other into a connected column in an inserting hole pierced to the second harness. The first and second harnesses are relatively transferred to the connected column directions and an opening port is formed between the divided strings Z1 and Z2 , then the vertical string X and the lateral string Y are respectively inserted into the opening port, thus the strings are woven so as to be fixedly nipped and a three-dimensional woven fabric of entangled texture not varying the string arranging interval in filling of a matrix such as cement, a resin, etc., is obtained.
