Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable walking on a hose or the like without any obstacle while the supply of water to the hose is kept by providing a water supply coupling on one side of a thick plate-like material having load withstand property and a drain coupling on the other side thereof, and forming one or plural channels communicated with the water supply coupling or the drain coupling in the interior of the plate-like material.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of fire extinguishing activity when a fire is caused, the end part of a water supply hose 9 is connected to a water supply coupling 2 of a plate-like material 1, and a drain hose 10 is connected to a drain coupling 3 of the plate-like material 1. On the road surface where persons or vehicles come and go, the plate-like material 1 is used in such a manner as to cross the road. When water is supplied in the water supply hose 9, water is discharged from the port of the drain hose 10 through the inside of one or plural pressure proof hoses 4 and the drain coupling 3 according to the quantity of water supplied. Even when the vehicles and persons come and go while water is discharged from the port of the drain hose 10, the quantity of water supplied from the pressure proof hose 4 will not be changed because the hose is formed by such a material that a channel is not closed.
