In such a case, maintenance and inspection of the printed circuit boards constituting the electronic equipment housed in the rack must be performed at the front of the rack. A large number of printed boards are housed in parallel in a shelf, and this shelf is housed in a rack device. Each printed board is removably inserted into the shelf by being connected to a connector provided on the pack board at the rear of the shelf. The rear surface of this backboard is a wiring area that requires maintenance and inspection, so during maintenance and inspection, maintenance and inspection of the rear surface must be performed in units of shelves from the front side of the rack.

At times, the rack was rotated to perform maintenance and inspection on the back side of the shelf, or the shelf had a structure that could be slid out from the rack to perform maintenance and inspection on the back of the shelf. However, in the gate structure method, the mounting width is narrow due to restrictions on the rotation of the rack frame, and there are also restrictions on the placement location of wiring cables. In particular, deep rack systems require a large dead space and the mounting density is low. and required a large installation space. Further, in the pull-out structure of the shelf, the structure is complicated, and when the shelf is pulled out, the shelf itself protrudes forward, making maintenance and inspection work difficult.

A removable rotating shaft is provided, the rotating shaft supports the shelf so that it can be folded forward, and a screw for fixing and holding the shelf to the rack is provided on the front of the shelf, and the screw is inserted from the front side of the shelf. It has a structure in which the shelf is removably fixed to the rack device by screwing it into the screw hole on the rack device side rearward, and the screw cover for covering the screw is rotatable about an axis parallel to the rotation axis. The screw cover has a first position substantially perpendicular to the front of the axis of the screw so as to cover the front surface of the screw and prevent operation of the screw, and a first position that is substantially perpendicular to the front of the axis of the screw so as to cover the front surface of the screw and prevent operation of the screw, and a first position that is away from the front surface of the screw to allow operation of the screw. The screw cover is rotatably movable between a second position substantially horizontal on the rack side above the shaft, and the screw cover is engaged with the rack side in the second position so that the shelf is rotated. It is characterized by preventing rotation around the axis due to its own weight.

A shelf 2 containing a plurality of printed boards 7 is stored in a rack device 1. A rotary shaft 4 is provided on the rear lower side of the shelf 2 and is detachable from a shelf mounting frame 6 fixed to the rack device 1. The rotating shaft 4 is always urged toward the shelf mounting frame 6 fixed to the rack device through the compression spring 5 and the E-ring 14, and is fitted into a bearing hole (not shown) formed in the shelf mounting frame 6. This rotating shaft 4 can be pulled out from the shelf mounting frame 6 against the compression spring 5, and the shelf 2 can be removed from the rack device 1. Shelf 2 is attached to Shelf mounting frame 6 by screw 3.
is held fixed. The shelf 2 can be folded forward by removing the screw 3 and rotating it around the rotating shaft 4 as shown by arrow A in FIG.

6 and 7 are detailed views of the screw cover according to the present invention, respectively. A screw cover 8 for covering the screw 3 on the upper front surface of the shelf 2 is attached to the shelf 2. This screw cover 8 is pivotally connected to a rotating shaft 9 provided on the shelf 2 via support pieces 10 at both ends, and is rotatable relative to the shelf 2 in the direction of arrow B in FIG. Therefore, this screw cover 8 is in the first position (broken line in FIG. 5 or in FIG. 6) covering the front surface of the screw 3 and in the second position (solid line in FIG. 5) in which it is away from the front surface of the screw 3 and leaves the front surface of the screw 3 open. and Figure 7) between arrow B
It can be rotated like this. Reference numeral 11 denotes a puller provided on the printed board for inserting and removing the printed board 7. When the screw cover 8 is in the first position, the driver 13 cannot engage the screw 3 as shown in FIG. When the screw cover 8 is in the second position, this screw cover 8 is attached to the shelf mounting frame 6.
As shown in FIG. 7, when the screw 3 is removed with a screwdriver 13 and the other screws 3 are also removed, the shield 2 is locked to the bracket 12 and the shelf 2 is removed. Rotating axis 4 due to its own weight
(Figures 1 and 2) Prevents rotation. When the shelf 2 is housed in the rack device, the screw cover 8 is held in the first position to prevent the screw from being removed by mistake. During maintenance and inspection of the shelf 2, move the screw cover 8 to the second position, remove the screw 3, then return the screw cover 8 to the first position, tilt the shelf 2 forward, and perform maintenance and inspection of the wiring section on the back side. I do.

る。(7) Effects of the invention As explained above, the electronic device housing according to the invention has a simple structure and can be mounted with a structure that allows the shelf to be folded forward without reducing the packaging density or being subject to cable wiring restrictions. Maintenance and inspection of the back of the shelf can be easily performed from the front of the device.
Furthermore, a screw cover is provided to cover the screws that secure the Shelf to the rack, so the screws will not be removed by mistake, and when the Shelf is tilted forward, this screw cover must be moved to remove the screws. Since the screw cover of the cigarette is located in a position where it can be locked to the rack, it becomes a support for temporarily suspending the shelf, making it easy to remove the screws, and preventing the shelf from rotating forward due to its own weight. Done safely. Further, by providing such a screw cover, it is possible to prevent a printed board stored in the shelf without being connected to a connector in the shelf stored state from falling off the shelf or being accidentally pulled out.
