Abstract
PURPOSE:To store a liquid such as rainwater or petroleum at a deep part in the ground, by providing a liquid inflow and outflow part to ground surface and constructing a liquid storage tank having a pressure resistant hermetically closed structure at a deep part in the ground. CONSTITUTION:When the river R rises and danger such that the river water floods over a bank is generated, a control gate 18 is closed while a valve 36 is opened and a three-way valve 37 is changed over toward a discharge apparatus 39 to operate said discharge apparatus 30. A pump 13 is operated to allow the water of an inflow water channel W to flow in a water emitting tank 11 and said water flows down through a flow pipe 32 to be stored in a liquid storage tank 25. When the water level of the river R lowers, the control gate 18 is opened and the three-way valve 37 is changed over and an air supply apparatus 38 is operated. High pressure air is sent in the liquid storage tank 25 through an air supply pipe 33 to discharge the water in the liquid storage tank 25 to the river R through a drain through pipe 17. This underground liquid storage equipment can be used as the storage equipment of petroleum or liquified gas.
