Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an efficient use of the inner space of a box by arranging works A automatically and in a zigzag shape by providing an arrangement stopper which freely moves up and down to bring that work A being carried on a conveyor to a stop in such manner as to deviate the stopping point from a course by a distance of one-half of their diameters. CONSTITUTION:With an arrangement stopper 23 of a boxing apparatus backed off, a plurality of works on a conveyor 22 are advanced and placed on a slide table 1 by the push action of a pusher 11. The works are thereafter moved onto the conveyor 22, with the arrangement stopper 23 projecting by a distance of the half of the work diameter, whereby the works stop on the conveyor 22 deviating from the previous work by its radius. In this condition, the work A is pushed onto the slide table 1, arranged in a zigzag formation and subsequently boxed by the slide table 1.
