Conventional Structure and Problems Conventionally, this type of clothes dryer detects a predetermined drying level of the drying object by contacting the object to be dried and its electrical resistance, and from that point on, the temperature detection element detects the dryness of the object. The hot air drying operation is stopped after calculating and controlling the delay time due to the temperature rise of the internally circulating hot air.
Temperature rise detection was inconsistent and varied widely depending on the mounting position of the temperature detection element, making it impossible to always maintain a constant finished state.

In the drawings, reference numeral 1 denotes a rotating drum serving as a drying chamber, which is rotatably supported within an outer box 2, and its rotation causes the material to be dried 3 inside to rotate and fall. Reference numeral 4 denotes a motor provided in the outer box 1, which rotates the rotary drum 1 via a belt 5, and also drives a dehumidifying fan 8 in the fan case 7 via a belt 6.
(hereinafter referred to as the fan) are rotated at the same time.

When the fan 8 is rotated, the air in the rotating drum 1 is sent from the filter cover 9 through the filters 10 and 11 as shown by the arrow, through the fan case 7, and into the heater cover 13 through the ventilation passage 12. , a heater 1 installed inside the drum front plate 14
5, the hot air is blown into the drum 1 through the ventilation holes 19. After the hot air warms the material to be dried in the rotating drum 1, the hot air that has removed moisture repeats the above-mentioned ventilation cycle. During the hot air circulation cycle, the hot air containing a large amount of humidity is transferred to the drum 1 of the fan 8.

At that time, the outside air is also touching the wall on the outside air side of the fan 8, so due to the temperature difference at that time, the water vapor in the hot air condenses on the inside wall of the fan 8.
Water droplets blown away by the rotation of the fan case 7 are drained out of the machine through a drain hole 16 provided in the fan case 7. By repeating the above-described cycle, water is removed from the material to be dried, and the material to be dried 3 in the drum 1 is dehumidified and dried.

An electrode 17 is attached in front of the heater 15 and on the side of the drum front plate 14 facing the rotary drum 1, in order to come into contact with the material 3 to be dried and detect its electric resistance.

Reference numeral 18 denotes a temperature detection element, which is composed of a thermistor having negative resistance-temperature characteristics, and is installed in the ventilation path before reaching the heat exchange section between the filters 10 and 11 in the rotating drum 1 and the fan 8 to dehumidify. provided to detect the previous temperature.

Therefore, the material to be dried 3' in the rotary drum 1 is dried by hot air drying as described above, a predetermined drying rate is detected by the electrode 17, and the subsequent temperature rise ΔT (Fig. 3) is calculated as the temperature. The delay time is measured by the detection element 18 and calculated, and as a result, it is controlled by a control circuit that turns off the power.

The operation of the above configuration will be explained below. The temperature detection element 18 that detects the temperature is placed in the heat exchange section, that is, in the ventilation passage before it comes into contact with the fan 8, so it is at a position close to the temperature inside the refrigerator.
In addition, the temperature of the hot air can be measured at a position where the influence of turbulence caused by the fan 8, condensed water during heat exchange, and outside air temperature is minimized, and the temperature detection element 1
In addition to improving the detection accuracy of 8, by performing temperature detection in the above-mentioned state, calculations and input values can be performed accurately, delay time can be made more accurate, and the finished state can be made uniform.
