持体表面より除去された転写後の残留トナーを回
収するトナータンクとを有するクリーニング装置
において、上記のトナータンクの水平断面のほゞ
全面を覆い、その一端縁を軸として揺動自在に支
持されトナータンク内に回収されたトナーの表面
に追随して押上げられるトナー容量検知板、クリ
ーニング装置が機械本体に装着されているか否か
を検知するセツト検知手段、上記のセツト検知手
段のセツト検知により上記のトナー容量検知板を
その時の位置に固定する固定手段、及びトナータ
ンクが満杯時のトナー容量検知板の位置によつて
作動するトナー満杯検知手段を有することを特徴
とするクリーニング装置。 (2) 上記のトナー容量検知板の移動によつて作
動し、上記トナータンクの満杯に先立ち、上記ト
ナータンク内のトナー量を表示する手段を設けた
