Abstract
PURPOSE:To have sure refill of sheets by furnishing an alarm display, which senses with a sensor an ending indication mark near the trailing edge of roll paper by optical means and performs alarm indication for ending of the roll paper on the basis of this detection signal, and thereby knowing surely the ending of roll paper. CONSTITUTION:When the end of roll paper 1 is approached and the ending indication mark 2 comes up to an optical type sensor 3, a detection signal is given by a sensor 3 to a drive control part 6. The drive control part 6 having received this detection signal drives an alarm display 5, and an alarm is emitted to inform ending of the roll paper 1. Thus the user can know surely ending of the roll paper 1 to ensure that sheets are refilled properly.
