CONSTITUTION:Base portion 12 composed of solid rubber and having approximately U-shaped cross-section is fitted through a holding lip 15 onto a joint flange 7 for inner and outer panels 5, 6. A decoration board material, i.e, the end portion 8a of a garnish 8, is applied onto the other end 21b of a decoration cloth member 21 wound around the base portion 12 and a cover lip 16. The end portion 16a of the cover lip 16 is pulled forcibly to one side chip 13 at the inside of vehicle. Consequently, outward tilting of the cover lip tip portion 16a can be prevented reliably at the corner portion of an open edge of body as well as to the linear portion of the joint flange portion 7, and thereby a, garnish end portion 8a is concealed. Consequently, degradation of appearance in the vehicle can be prevented.
