Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at partial wear prevention and rigidity improvement by arranging plural blocks within the specified range in the cross direction from a shoulder edge, while forming vertical grooves into entwined form in the cross direction and specifying each groove width, in case of a tire with these blocks. CONSTITUTION:Blocks 7 are set up in an area of 30-40% of tread width on two rows in the cross direction from each shoulder edge 4. And, vertical grooves 5 are formed in an entwined state in the cross direction. And, groove width of each vertical groove 5 should be set to a range of less than about 1/3 of each horizontal groove 6, and when one block 7 is deformed to circumferential force, it should be set to the groove width abutting on a lateral side wall 8 of the block 7 where this lateral side wall 8 of the block 7 is adjoined.
