Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve fusion resistance by providing a movement adjusting means between a base portion of a contact spring and a press-contact point of a card so that the contact spring is made movable in the longitudinal direction.
CONSTITUTION: When a card 4 is press-contact driven under a condition of both contact points 1, 2 being open, the card 4 press-contacts a contact spring 3 to close the contact points 1, 2. If the card 4 further presses the contact spring 3, a supporting body 5 turns about one end in the direction of the arrow as the contact spring 3 is play-fit to the supporting body 5, and at the same time a curved portion 13 is narrowed by this movement to move the contact spring 3 toward the base portion. As a result, this movement causes a wiping action of a movable contact point 2 to slide on the surface of a fixed contact point 1. In the case the card 4 is reset on the other hand, a reverse action is performed and, since the contact spring 3 can be moved to the width of the lower part of the curved portion 13, the wiping can be extended. This makes it possible to obtain a contact spring 3 structure having high fusion resistance.
