Abstract

PURPOSE:To make preheating perfect regardless of the large or small heat capacity of a heated substance and save electric power by computing the heat capacity of the heated substance from the impedance change of a temperature sensing element and determining preheating time on the basis of the computed result. CONSTITUTION:The heat capacity of a heated substance is calculated via a computer from the time change rate of impedance fluctuating on the temperature of a temperature sensing element embedded in the heated substance. The impedance fluctuation of the temperature sensing element comprising an electrode wire 2a and a plastic thermistor 2b is converted into a voltage signal via a temperature sensing means 3 and inputted to a microcomputer 12. The microcomputer 12 operates the change rate of the predetermined time of said voltage signal, and time for electrically energizing a heater element 1 before the temperature of the heated substance rises to the predetermined level. During this time, a thyristor 17 is made to operate. According to the aforesaid system, preheating is free from a shortage or an excess due to a difference in the heat capacity of the heated substance.
