Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify adjusting structure and to inexpensively obtain desired solution, by engaging elastic members with both end parts of an optical fiber lens array (OFLA), and pressing and deforming a part of the elastic member at respective end part. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is irradiated by a light source, and reflected light of one scanning length is condensed on an image sensor 3 by the optical fiber lens array 2, then, image information of one line can be obtained. The elastic members 4 are engaged with both end parts of the OFLA2, and an upper and a lower hole parts of flat spring shape on the elastic members 4 are extended in the directions of an image sensor mounting plate 5 and a case 6, and are abutted partially. And by inserting and rotating an adjusting screw 7 arranged at the image sensor mounting plate 5, the OFLA2 can be adjusted and positioned in a focal direction 8, and the OFLA2 can be positioned at a part where superior resolution can be obtained. In such a way, it is possible to bring out the resolution of the OFLA2 whose adjustment is easy and large in an adjusting area to the maximum, and to obtain a small image information reader in which a device cost is lowered and is provided with superior resolution.
