Abstract

PURPOSE: To synchronize an asynchronous data signal by allowing each of synchronizing signals to include a time division multiplex frame including a data bit, a stuff machine bit and an overhead bit and distributing stuffing between superframes. CONSTITUTION: Each of synchronizing signals has a time division multiplex frame that includes a data bit, at least a stuff opportunity bit and at least an overhead, and a superframe is configured by a plurality of frames, at least two frames include various number of data and/or overhead bits and a step to correct generation of a stuff request signal is included so as to distribute stuffing between superframes. Thus, an asynchronous data signal, especially an asynchronous DSI data signal is synchronized.
