Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device whose operation is easy by providing a means for storing an operation mode which is independently set every function, and a means for independently and cyclically calling the operation mode. CONSTITUTION:A copying key is pushed down at first after turning on a power source, when the current copying mode does not coincide with the mode in a storage means 112, a counted value (i) (the address information of the storage means 113-116) is increased by '1', and when (i) is the largest number N (the number of modes which can be stored in the means 113-116) or more, it is cleared to '0'. Then, the set operation mode is stored in the storage means 112 expressed by the value (i). If a recall key is pushed down without pushing down the copying key, the value (i) is decreased by one and i=N is set in case of i=0 so as to read out the operation mode from the storage means expressed with the (i). Thus, only modes which are set at present and different from an already registered operation mode are sequentially stored every push-down of the copying key, and the modes are cyclically read out by sequentially retrospecting from the operation modes which are independently and newly stored with individual function at every push-down of the recall key and the operability can be made favorable.
