Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an anaerobically curable adhesive compsn. which is suited for use in adhesion of metal parts etc., hermetic sealing, fixing of mating members, etc. and has a markedly improved hot adhesion strength, and which comprises a particular acrylic adhesive compsn. and a hydrogenated bisphenol A modified urethane (meth)acrylate mixed therewith. CONSTITUTION:An acrylic adhesive compsn. comprising, as a base component, a mixture of a (meth)acrylic ester with a radical polymn. initiator is mixed with a hydrogenated bisphenol A modified urethane (meth)acrylate obtd. by a reaction of a hydrogenated bisphenol A, a polyisocyanate and a (meth)acrylate having a hydroxyl group. The compsn. thus prepd. exhibits a markedly improved hot adhesion strength as compared with the conventional compsns., when it is used as an anaerobically curable adhesive compsn. in adhesion of metal parts etc., hermetic sealing, locking, fixing of mating members, etc.
