Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicide composition having improved defects of individual drug components and capable of effectively controlling harmful weeds such as bogrush or coco-grass in Japanese lawn, by using a controlling agent effective against perennial cyperaceous weeds in Japanese lawn in combination with a herbicide safe to lawn. CONSTITUTION:The objective herbicidal composition for the control of weeds in Japanese lawn in produced by combining (A) a compound of formula I (effective even in the control of perennial cyperaceous weeds) with (B) a compound of formula II (2-5pts. of the component of formula I per 1pt. of the compound of formula II; the quantity of the compound of formula II is preferably increased in the case of controlling weeds of advanced growing stage). The composition effectively controls harmful weeds such as Cyprus brevifolius or coco-grass over a wide application range extending from pre-emergence stage to growing stage.
