Abstract

PURPOSE:To make edge treatment of a skin material easier, by setting a shrinkable member on the circumferential edge part of the skin material, and rolling the circumferential edge part of the skin material on the rear face of a core material by shrinking the circumferential edge part of the skin material after injection-molding the core material and taking it out of a mold. CONSTITUTION:A shrinkable member 24 is set on a circumferential edge part 22 of a skin material 21 cut in a product unit. The skin material 21 is set in a mold 11 in such a way that the circumferential edge part 22 of the skin material 21 is in an extended state and a core material 31 is injection-molded. After molding, the molded item is taken out of the mold 11 and the circumferential edge part 22 of the skin material 21 is rolled on the rear face of the core material 31 by shrinking the shrinkable member 24. As the shrinkage member 24, a self-shrinkable rubber or heat-shrinkable materials by heating may be used.
